...since we're approaching another 1k barrier...I can't keep going at the pace we're doing, so for an unspecified time it will be every 5k views so I have some piece for myself too...I dearly hope you guys understand...

I agree, once you hit 10k, it should be every 5k.
Your page views may be vaguely exponential, so don't worry about it. It happens with some artists - the more popular you get, the more popular you get!

It happens when I don't try and haphazardly click on random things. Like those wonderful little ad messages that say I'm the 1,000,000th viewer.
