Seventh move of my life.
Resin and I are finally getting a place we can call or own. Or so we thought.
We've been shit out of luck for a while, but things are looking up now. One car halts a lot of job opportunities, but with this new move we'll be able to walk to most places to find a job. I don't mind a 30, 50 minute walk, I used to walk EVERYWHERE. Kept me in shape, made me feel good, could listen to music.
Thing is, our friend had offered us to take her lease and now she's decided she wants to move back in. Errrrr...
Well that interrupts our plans at having our own place to decorate, move around furniture and not worry about food supply, to say the least. Especially since my brother is in a jam and need a place to stay as well, so that'll be four people in a two-bedroom. Good thing it's spacious.
But hey, it's alright. I don't mind friends being in a place I live at, hell, it's part of my dream to live amongst friends. This just is a bit of a setback.
In the end, though? We're closer to our dream. Our own place, good jobs, to just be... stable, y'know? Also, I've been anxious about one other thing -- I plan to go into management. Why the hell not? I've the hours, I don't go to school and I wouldn't be a DICK manager either. I've been a grunt in all my past jobs and I know what it's like to be dicked around. It also makes for a very unhappy worker. Unhappy workers = no worky. I'm confident I can be a good manager, let's just hope a place takes me in as one since I have no experience. Haha.
