So... Saturday night I was driving down with ismile and allydog to go see mystkatodark and yoshi_foxburr like we had been doing all weekend. I was excited.

And dumb.

I got pulled over for doing 100 mph in a 65 mph zone. Go me! I'm so smart. The cop actually went really easy on me; he really should of taken me to jail for the way I was driving with two other people in the car. Yet, instead, he just gave me a ticket. So... I guess being respectful does work out. That and this is my first offense.

Now, due to Georgia's Super Speeder's Law, I'm estimating that my ticket will be $500-600 after the new law's amount is tacked on. I also want to pay for and take a defense driving class before my court date to better show that I've learned from my mistake. I want to gather up all this money on my own to prove to my parents that I take full responsibility for my mistake.

Here's the catch: I'm currently unemployed. Thus, I have no source of income. I've been filling job applications like crazy and am currently waiting for a temp agency to get back to me to see if they will help. Fingers crossed that I get re-employed soon so I can work towards paying this off.

So, I have until May 12th to gather the amount needed to pay my ticket (I'll find out the exact amount pre-super speeder's in about two weeks.) allydog and I have been coming up with some ideas to try and raise some money via local stuff, but I'm also opening commissions because I'm in dire need to start some kind of fund. Pretty much, if you feel like helping out, send a few bucks my way and you'll get art in return. I know I say I'll give a lot of people art, but with gift art, I often get unmotivated. But since this is handling people's money, I won't fuck this up. xD
