FWA Post-Con Report (super long/TL;DR)

I will have spelling, grammatical, and tense errors since I did not proof read this before posting. I will go over it and edit my shitty writing when I get to a computer.



So, um... FWA 2011 blew my fucking mind. Like... shit, no past con can even come close to holding itself to the same level FWA 2011 reached.



Time for a break down.



Wednesday (Pre-Con)

So, Wednesday started out as a normal day. I attended my classes, chilled with Myst, Yoshi, and Ally (once he arrived) in between classes as usual. Around 10 pm, I finally got home, dragging Ally and Emery along with me. I scrambled to finish up what little packing I had left, kissed my parents goodbye, and drove back to the cat's place for pre-con chilling. Sadly, due to lack of sleep all week from excitement, I failed at pre-con partying and passed the fuck out while everyone had fun.



Thursday (Con Day One)

So, my ass woke up around 10 am or so and everyone in the famiry is in various stages of awareness: from still asleep to groggy to wide awake. We all woke up, prepped ourselves, and stored our luggage in Ally's van and the tiny trunk of my Scion tC. The party then split: ram and husky/GSD in the van; cougar, snow mew, and waguar in the tC. Then we rolled out early mid-day. Myst decided to be awesome and drove my car down while Ally followed us to the Sheraton as I directed Myst where to go. We arrived around noon and attempted to check in early to unload our stuff. Luckily, we were able to check in early, but at the cost of us having a room out in hickville on the fourth floor. Chillage commences.

Rave Fox arrived around 6 pm, and Emery and I helped him carry his stuff upstairs to the room. Right off the bat he was friendly and a sweetheart. It was almost like friendship at first sight. Later, Razr came along to settle into the room. And just like Rave Fox, he was super awesome right off the bat. I love my Heatherettes. <3!

Further chillage, smokage, and drinkage continued until I felt right as rain. Moreck arrived around 2 am and we all sat and chatted for a short period of time before we all retired to our rooms.



Friday (Con Day Two)

Let me be straight up honest with y'all: I really don't remember Friday. It's all hazy, so this will be a short recap as I touch base on a what little I remember.

I didn't sleep much that night and woke up between 10-11 am. I explored around with friends, sippin' on a swiftly made, shitty drink to start my day. 2 pm is when Moreck finally woke up. Volita arrived with Bardo in the early afternoon. We hung out, smoked, and drank until she had to prep for the dance. Justin made his appearance as well to bask in the trife and fuckery that can be furries and down booze like water. Justin is amazing. <3 Sijion also arrived and settled in this day.

And all I remember after that is wandering, chatting, smoking like crazy, and drinking a shit ton once 8 pm rolled around. We planned on going to The Jungle as a group, but so many people wanted to go we had to take two cars and no one felt sober enough to drive the second car. So only Emery, Ally, Justin, and a few others went while Moreck and I hung around the hotel until super late with the others that stayed behind.

That was so much fucking fun.

Also, thanks to Moreck for being my pillow at 3 am while we sat on the hotel lobby couch, and being my designated con buddy to get wasted with. Party Monsters. <3



Saturday (Con Day Three)

Once again, I don't remember much of this day, even though it was the day I drank and smoke the least. Haha, weird.

I know I hung out with my usual crowd, bumping into a few people here and there that I was familiar with. Dealer's Den adventures were had with Moreck, Myst, and Volita at some point in time. Pretty much, the afternoon was wandering and low level fuckery.

As the evening hours rolled around, a few drinks were had, some serious conversations were held, and everyone just chilled and had a good time.  I'm pretty sure we smoked hookah that night on the deli balcony on the third floor, cause I remember MoonEater/Ross promised to sit in my lap during hookah smoking and never did. You heartbreaker! <3

I was hyped up and unable to sleep when everyone else turned in. Then, BAM! Rave Fox busts into the room around 5am and was nice enough to invite me out to the Metro Diner with him and some of his friends. Other than him, I didn't know anyone there, so I was my usual, awkward self. But I had some laughs and a damn good burger.

Well, I guess that breakfast-dinner could be considered a Sunday event, BUT WHATEVER.



Sunday (Con Day Four)

I never really went to sleep this night. Upon coming back from the diner, I sat in the room and played DS for a few hours. During this chill, lonesome period, I got hit hard with an early case of PCD. And, much to my dismay, Moreck left in a rush, so I missed a chance to hug him goodbye. I'll just crush your ribs with an amazing hug next time we see each other, Blueburry.

In the morning, I joined Myst and Yoshi for a smoke, which did not improve my mood. At all. On the way back from the parking lot, I injuried my knee somewhat, causing it to hurt and lock up if I bent it or put weight on it in certain ways. For the next five or so hours, I rested in my hotel bed, napped, let my knee recover a bit, then hobbled to my car to sleep after Rave Fox and Razr popped into the room for a bit.

Time went by and I decided to go for a walk, so I meandered to the nearest Wells Fargo ATM, marveled at the money that randomly got in my account, then walked my ass to Five Points around 6 pm since the nearest Burger King was there and I craved a BK Stacker. On the way there, around the Five Points MARTA station, some random dude came up and wrapped his arm around my waist until I shoved him off to beeline to the MARTA police cars. Sadly, I could not find the BK (though I did on my walk back) and settled for McDonald's. And, oh man, was that an interesting meal.

First off, there was a senile old woman with a crazy expression, chanting to tear down all our prisons and how too many people are on the streets. As people walked in and out to talk to staff, the non-staff talkers were not purchasing any food, the lady watching them. One guy then went out for a smoke break. The lady wobbled to her feet, using her cane for support, and slowly made her way towards the door. And by slowly, I mean like a sloth speed. No joke. Two steps into moving, she started hollering for him to come back in, sounding like she was dying. After a few minutes, some of the guy's friends dragged him in. Senile lady asked his age, he replied with 21, and she handed him $20 telling him to get himself something to eat. She then pulled out a handful of large bills, her purse containing even more, and started giving the money to people with no food. A group quickly formed around her. The manager then stormed up, saying they can't take this lady's money. Others shift over, agreeing with the manager.

Next thing I know, someone is KO'd on the floor. The manager flipped and chased everyone out of the lobby while the old lady stood still, sobbing and saying it was wrong to not let the teens eat when it's not their fault they were broke. The manager then called the cops to handle the slight fight and the mass of people outside. At this point in time, I threw out my leftovers and slipped away before the cops arrived.

Upon getting back, I wandered about. I eventually met up with Emery, Ally, Andy Dean, Andy's boyfriend Dave, and Justin in Fandangle's. I chatted for a bit then wandered off to say hi to Yoshi. After that, it was back to my car to try and catch more Z's since I had only napped for 2 hours earlier in the day. Yet, to my surprise, I spotted Deke, Ekko/JP, and Myst coming up for a smoke. I clambered out of my car, joined them in the smoke session, and chugged the last half of Myst's mixed drink. It was an instant mood fix. The rest of the evening consisted of booze runs, drinking, smoking, foolery, fuckery with Deke's car (poor guy), a wild goose chase for Rave Fox to get a room key, and hookah smoking. The evening also had a sad moment when I caught Razr before he had to leave and hugged him goodbye.

Hookah that night was ballin', especially since Aaron joined us during one of his visits to see Emery. Some amazing conversations were had and over time people came up and join us (i.e. Ash, who is ballin'.) After some time with that, Sassy, Deke, Myst, and Yoshi wandered off to the parking deck to smoke. Aaron, Andy Dean, and I stayed with the hookah and I solo hit it while we talked. Andy and I spent the next three or so hours bonding over venting, and now I feel like an actual friend to him. I was kind of "meh" and untalkative most of the time I've been around him these past months prior to FWA. Later, Dave joined in the vent and it continued until 6:15 am when they had to hop onto the MARTA train to go home and go to work. So need to hang with those two sometime. Like... real chillage. Bonding time~



And now here I am! This concludes my long ass, half-assed con recap. :3

TL;DR (Shout Outs)

For those of you who don't give two fucks about what I did at the con, then maybe you'd care about shout outs. :P I would love to be right in the assumption that I walked out of this con with a few new friends, at least.

I know we didn't really hang much during the con, but I was kind of glad of that since we see each other so often and we got to do our own things. Ilu rammy-kins. Be my bbyboo.

You've always made my days better, somehow, and you definately brought some extra light to FWA 2011 (especially on my emo/early PCD attack day.) The friends of your's that I met are fucking amazing, just like you, and I want to thank you for helping me expand my social circle a bit.



To yoshi_foxburr,

We didn't really see much of each other at the con itself for more than brief moments up until Sunday night, but I enjoyed my time with you. I hope you had fun. :/3 Your other room mates seemed nice and it was awesome to see you have some fun! :D



To allydog,

You are so fuckin' funny and awesome to be around. Always. Don't change, dawg! You made me laugh so fuckin' hard that one night you were in your purple throne pitching trife and bitch to everyone and anyone that passed by. Oh wait... you always make me laugh. You're fucking cool and I'm glad I broke through your shell and made up for my bitchy first impression months ago.



To moreck,

Ah! It was so great to see you! And to drink with you. And to just get generally wasted with you. I'm glad I got to see more of you at this con than I did at AC 2010! I look forward to being annoying and spamming your phone with texts time to time for conversations, cause I totes want to make talking to you a more regular thing.



To volita,

She-masa, you rule. I wish we could of spent a bit more time together, but I'm happy to have seen you again. Once I'm working again, whenever that will be, I'll see about coming up for a weekend so we can party like the animals we are! <3



To deke,

You got some swagger for a gshep, bro. It was seriously so epic to really walk around, hang with you, and get to know you better. And those drinks you made Sunday night were amazing; may not of been the best tasting in town, but it sure as hell got the job done. Once my computer is on it's new hard drive, I'm going to replay Dead Space and finish Dead Space 2 so we can geek out about fucking up an eye removal. :D I'm still kind of freaking out over that video. *shudder*



To ekko_thefox,

I remembered bits and pieces of your personality from our few encounters last FWA, especially when you brought us that Kool-Aid moonshine, and have been wanting to hang with you since then. And it was great to finally do so! You're so energetic and sassy, like most of my friends it seems, and your fights with Ally were a laugh riot. Also, I owe you a huge thanks for that candy. It really fuckin' helped. Like... a lot. And the fact you followed me to say goodbye when I was storming off and stressed was so nice of you. <3 That was one of the best hugs I got all con.



To ravefox,

Grrl! You are so adorable and funny and sweet. From my personal experience, if must be a Canadian thing, cause I've yet to meet a Canadian I didn't like. I wish I had been a little less shy and talked to you more during the con, but that's what IMs are for: making up for missed oppurtunities. Oh! And if anyone dethrones me in tucking your handpaws into your fursuit sleeves, tell me A.S.A.P. so I can challenge that person to a duel. >:C Jk I hope to see you in the near future at another con and so hope we can room together again, or at least drink together!



To razr,

You and Rave were quite the little party monsters this weekend. Just like Rave, you came off as very nice and fun to talk to. I enjoyed our conversations, especially the ones my hazy memory hasn't ruined. Our text convo while you traveled home was so much fun, even though I rambled like a senile old woman, and only makes me excited to get to know you better!



To moon_eater,

We didn't hang out too much; we had something more like brief encounters, but I enjoyed them all. You seem pretty chill and I hope to get to know you better. And I expect you to sit in my lap next time we see each other. You owe me. :P
