Anybody else here use l-arginine?

Works great when I'm lifting, but makes me feel like shit afterwards. Anyone else get that? Just curious if it's some kind of reaction. Haven't really found much online concerning it.

It also increases stomach acid, and has been known to cause ulcers.
It also alters potassium levels and can be harmful to the liver and kidneys.
It also increases sugar levels and should not be used by people with diabetes, liver, or kidney disease.
It can worsen the symptoms of herpes.
It should never be mixed with NSAIDs (Aspirin, Ibuprofin, Naproxen, Acetametophan), diuretics, or potassium supplements.
I'd reccomend not using L-arginine and lace your gatorade with a half-and-half mixture of water. Gatorade is a little more concentrated than most people need, it's more of a medical supplement in my opinion. It's a bit too rich on electrolytes and potassium for the average excersizer.
I've got a LOT of experience with excersize and stomach issues, having Chron's disease. And gatorade has brought me to ulcers on multiple ocassions.
Also, a glass of milk a half hour after a workout (if you don't plan to do anymore) helps a lot for soothing muscles.
I do reccomend nootropics however for their use in improving the oxygen flow to the brain, as it reduces workout fatigue and helps boost the sense of well-being. Piracetam is my favorite, as it's extremely cheap and pretty effective in 250-500mg doses an hour or two before workouts. It has no known side effects, but can also help relieve migraines and muscular stress headaches. It's used medically to treat aneurryms and victims of suffocation, asphyxiation, choking, and drowning because it reduces the damage to the brain from oxygen loss. In particularly extreme workouts this is actually possible, heavy stressing of the muscles can deprive the brain of oxygen and cause all kinds of bad things, and Piracetam helps prevent this.
But yeah, Piracetam is the cheapest and best understood nootropic, so I reccomend it over the others. Lots of science has got into Piracetam while the others? They could be harmful and noone knows yet, because they're very new.
I swear by Piracetam because I always get this post-workout head-fog, and Piracetam got rid of that totally for me.
(It's also pretty awesome for enhacing the effects of pot... not that I do pot. c.c)
