Man, seriously, I hate driving through town. The air is SO bad in Phoenix, I am for realsies. I drove into town three days ago and STILL everything tastes like I sucked on a muffler like my life depended on it. No wonder the gub'mint is threatening to take away our funds for that shit.
Painting backgrounds is easier than I thought, and profitable to the increase in the quality of my work! Did me well in an icon of a book I painted for my boyfriend Chay, and for that last pic of Brightheart I uploaded.
Plus, dang, I got a good response on that for the story behind it. I had it on the backburners due to the 'probably obscure and silly as hell' factor, but in light of this, I think I'll have to devote more effort to it!
I got a new distortion pedal for my guitar. Digitech Metal Master; best thing Digitech ever did, not that that's saying a whole lot. All the same, Gutter Ball is sounding pretty good through it. Also, installed some new EMG pickups in her, and burnt myself with a soldering iron, twice. Barbecued flesh isn't a smell you forget quickly.
As always, thanks for the comments and favorites and stuff. And if I skipped over a piece you wanted an opinion on, link me to it; I'll be happy to make up for lost brain matter. Until later!

I hated living in Arizona, too hot and dry, and in 1989 - 122F, yuck. However, I don't ever remeber it being that bad.
And we need the land for, you know, food.
Watch some of the shows on the Discovery Science channel and you can find out just what a diesel can run on. The show is "Cool Fuel".
(I know someone with a biodiesel reactor)
If biodiesel will ever become popular enough to decrease the demand for gasoline, they'll start taxing it heavily...
Also, phantom smells may be indicative of a brain tumor. o_O

Better safe than sorry.
On a brighter note, they also said that it was more likely a sinus infection. Mine has cleared up now so I don't know what to think.
As for the smell thing, I will say this: I live on a base in southern Georgia. Driving with the windows down after 9 pm is a bad idea I have learned over the months, and best part is, no one has any idea where it comes from!
At least the October days are pretty around here... :)
But yeah, i hate going though phoenix. The place smells terrible.
