I stumbled into the fandom not knowing what the heck it was about other than the cool artwork. I found a good RP site and of course the NZ Furry community (Haven't been in the IRC channel lately though).

After time I found good friends and good times, I also found what I was looking at even before I knew the fandom existed... yiff...

Yes, I was 'appreciating' yiff at fchan even before I knew that the furry fandom existed xD

It's odd and strange, and I think an escape for people who are into really strange things and want acceptance.. Or a barrier to hide under for their strange kinks.
Have I stayed in it? Yes. But not for those reasons.. And I refuse to accept everything that goes on in the fandom. Just some things are plain wrong.
