I'm watching a specific handicap fursuiter, forget his name, but he's always in a wheelchair and a fursuit at the same time. But I've also seen him *or someone in the same fursuit as him* standing sometimes, so maybe the wheelchair is just as much role play as the suit. Either way would seem cool to me.

I meant anyone who fakes it. I knew a lady for years who was suppose to be unable to walk. Her name was Delila. And I always saw her in church and in shopping centers driving around on her motorized cart cutting in line every time and people would let her be before them to be nice because no one wants to be rude to someone like that right? Well one day I was in town hanging out in front of a gas station with a friend and we both saw her pull up in a blue car open the door, get out with no cane, and walk right into the store. She walked out after she was finished and drove off. I couldn't believe my eyes. I told everyone I knew about it. I hate liars and thieves and cheats and anyone who fakes injury to use the system.

There are quite a few of us out there. I know at least two other hearing impaired fursuiters aside from myself way back. And unfortunately last I saw Kishma, she was wheelchair bound most of the time at cons then. On the MUCKs I know two blind players, one of which was a playterster for some of my Print-n-Play board games.

I saw my first pic of a handicapped fur 2 days ago. For some reason it just never occurred to me that there are furs who are handicapped.

the thing is that many users on this site have not just physical issues but many have mental handicaps that hamper their ability to integrate into modern society, this i have found this through talking to people and exposing my own in good faith and they have done the same, and take it from me it is easier to get a job if you are in a wheelchair than it is if you are classed as mentally or socially challenged...

I would have to agree with you about there being many users who have mental handicaps. It certainly explains a lot. I have seen many instances where someone says something disparaging in a offhanded way and the person who received the comment holds a personal grudge against them.

well in my experience thats just sheer bloody mindedness, or stupidity. but i am talking about things such as aspergers syndrome or mpd, thats very prevalent on the site
