Goodbye Alabama, Hello Cali.

Well, it's been a week since I packed up my van and left for California. I arrived yesterday on Tuesday after my van broke down on Saturday, leaving me stranded in Phoenix throughout Sunday and most of Monday. I got to see my dad and my sister while in Arizona, so that was fun. The move hasn't been easy. It's been hard leaving behind the life I've built up for the last 4 and a half years. It's been especially hard leaving behind the friends I've made there. There are so many furs in Alabama that are like family to me and it makes me sad to leave them behind. Most especially,

gammagray, and Pete; I do consider them an extension of my family. *wipes away a tear welling up in his eye* But I'm here now, with my mom and brother, whom I get to spend some time with, getting ready to start a new life. I just hope it doesn't take me too long to get on my own two feet. Right now, I'm in Pismo Beach, but I hope to be in LA some time in the next month, but it's very unpredictable right now, so we'll see how it goes. And besides, this presents an opportunity to meet some new furries in California. ^.^ So if there's anyone in Cali who's looking for some fox cuddles, just send me a note. *hugs tight*

As for Whisper, she's OK. She was just stressed over everything and she's doing better now that she's had a chance to settle down.
