GUH and AUGH and URGH
I've been making some Okami pieces to try and sell and I had just finished the ink wash of one. It is on this lovely soft handmade paper, impossible to sketch and erase on, so freehand inking is really a must. Anyway, it was done, and I went to remove the paper from the book...
And it wrinkled badly in the center. I didn't know it was gonna do that!!!
I'm pressing it to hopefully smooth it out, but I know it won't be the same now. Uncool, man. Uncool.
Lesson learned.

? It wrinkled as in, like how papers can wrinkle/buckle when you do watercolor washes over them when it's not taped down? If that's the case, there's a really easy way of smoothing it out. :O

OP
Like it got really thin and then snapped back together...like a wrinkled bed sheet. It was fine until I tried to remove the sheet. Belatedly, I realize that was a dumb idea. The paper is so thin that the sheet kind stick together, almost like a paper block.

Ohh, that's a major bummer :\ I wonder if you can play it off as being intentional.. though I somehow doubt a completely wrinkled piece of art would be an improvement. :|
