Hey watchers. I have a question:

Okay, so as many of you may or may not be aware, I am a furry (no duh...)
But, being a furry, I feel like I should have, like, some sort of fursona. Because then you could all associate that creature to me, and the world would just be so much better and more colorful if that were to happen.
But the thing is, I have no idea what creature I would be, and I honestly don't think I care (as long as it's not an insect of some kind. I hate bugs...)
So, I want to ask you all: Based on the very, very limited interactions we've had over the internet, if you were to place me as a species of animal, what would it be?
I'm just trying to do this to like, get an idea of what my fursona would be, so I could like, actually start to squeeze my way into the furry community.
Like a jumping off point. I need a jumping off point.
So, to reiterate, what animal do I most remind you of based on our minimal interactions (And, if you've read them, my writings?)
Also, as soon as I decide on a species for this, then I'll be putting up a new story, since it's been a while. That's called incentive.
Consequentially, second prize is a blow to the chops.

On one hand you could pick a simple fox, wolf or other canine, but those are too common.
I mean do that if you want but I would recommend something a little more unique.
Of course, that's just my opinion. I really think you should come up with something yourself instead of asking others.
In the furry fandom, a fursona is the essence of who or what you want to be, and you can be whatever you want. You don't even have to be a single species. If you different traits from different animals, feel free to throw them together to make something that you're comfortable with. Don't be afraid to experiment either. It won't be right away that you stumble across the perfect fursona. It's going to take a little time for you to settle in and discover the perfect one.

I ended up creating an entirely new species for mine, with various features and traits hand-picked from others, but the end result was a sabertoothed hyena. Maybe you could try compiling a list of desired fursona traits, then seeing if any existing species are close to what you want? Or if, perhaps, it would be easiest to simply make up something new or hybridized.
Later tonight, and probably at a few points in the future, I'll be livestreaming myself as I help people create new OC's, and giving them a free story to help further flesh out the character. You're definitely welcome to show up, if you'd like to have some help!
