The cartoon itself is so-so, very low key humor, but it isn't as bad as it could be. If you like My Little Pony, and you possess a penis, you are a brony.

It's just like being furry, in both positive and negative ways. Basically, if you like the show, wether youre male or female you're considered a brony, tho just like 'furry' I wish people wouldn't force the label on others. Some people just like the show but don't make a big deal out of it and that's ok. I think it's a good show.

Because being a brony is totes ghey, unlike the furry fandom that is totes manly! But really, it just comes down to a matter of opinion of the show. It has grown on me after a couple of viewings, but I'm still a little surprised by the fanfare it has received.

This is a lie, many bronies rank the pilot as one of the worst episodes(I personally loved it, Nightmare Moon ftw), I know I didn't get a few friends interested until I showed them edgier episodes. I mean, Party of One, I can't believe they put that in a kids show, and so much of the dialogue is stunning in its innuendo and outright brashness. I was won over as soon as Pinkie started singing and Twilight in an exasperated tone begged "Tell me she's not." Or the Cat lady comments directed at Rarity. It deals with surprisingly mature themes, like how to come to an understanding with yourself or get along with others you might not want to.

I really don't understand why people resist/hate on the ponypocalypse so hard.

I mean, yes, it is everywhere, but it's really rather easy to ignore, in fact, its all the people hating/thinking they're trolling ponies that encourages such a vast retailiation of rainbows and friendship magic.

We do tend to take it a little too far some times, but we wouldn't need to if it weren't so amusing that people freak out so hard over it. Most bronies are hardened /b/tards so, it's really a losing battle to try to fight us.

I find it funny that kids on FA find bronies deplorable whilst they themselves congregate in a social group that just might fap to loony tunes. As if claiming not to be a furry but still being a regular on FA leaves room to talk shit like yall aint nerds of the worst kind already.

Omg, that is my biggest peeve with the fandom, "lol but I'm not a furry tho! " The number of popufurs who are too good for us but make a living from our money. This fandom deserves a better class of popufur, and I'd like to give it to them.
