Same Shit, Different Day.....
WAS AMAZING!!!! Seriously, I'm not kidding! Everything was fun: the cruise ship, the shore excursions, etc. I got 2 new watches: a new wristwatch that turned out to be kinda cheap, and a new pocketwatch that was kinda expensive and totally worth it. I also got gifts for a bunch of my friends (this means you 
hyneria ). Every place I visited was fun: the packed streets in Berlin, the Gay Pride Parade in Helsinki, even the medievil castle town in Estonia. But, the real highlight of the trip....
was Amsterdam. After the ship docked in Amsterdam (where the cruise had started), my family stayed an extra 3 days to explore the city. Literally, almost every souvenier shop sold bongs, weed pipes, pre-rolled joints (not surprising since weed is legal there), and stuff you would find in a SEX SHOP! The most shocking thing, however, was Amsterdam's main tourist attraction: the Red Light District. Prostitution in legal in Holland and the Red Light District is the central hub. The main deal is: the whole district is filled with apartments that have windows and [window] doors that have red curtains. The hooker, clad in arousing clothing, stands in the window until a client approaches. When the customer goes into the apartment, the hooker closes the red curtain to show that she's "in a meeting." THIS IS THE MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTION IN HOLLAND!! It's 2 streets (one on both sides of a canal) of prostitutes, sex shops, "live entertainment" theaters, and bars with drunk men drinking Heinekin beer.
Thats as much as I wanted to say. I got home yesterday, snuggled with my cat Joey, spent hours checking FA (7076 unseen submissions and 366 unread journals), had 2 bagels and 2 bowls of cereal cuz I hadn't eaten anything in two days, went to bed at 4:00 A.M, got up 2 hours later, waited for my dad to bring home my dog from the daycare center she's been at for 3 weeks, played with her when she got home, and here I am now.
Once we unload all the luggage, I'm going to upload some pictures from the trip. I wont show all of them cuz there are too many, but I guarantee there will be at least 2 pictures from each country I visited over the last 3 weeks.
