I'M STILL ALIVE!!

Same Shit, Different Day.....
Oh, like any of you thought I was dead? More importantly, did any of you care? It doesn't matter, I figured it was time for me to bring you guys an update. And what better a day to update; not only is it the day after I finally graduated high school, but it's also my 18th BIRTHDAY BITCHES!! THAT'S RIGHT! I AM LEGAL NOW!! SUCK ON THAT!!
I'm just messing around. I know it's been a while since I uploaded any artwork (jeez, the last time I did was almost a friggin' year ago!). But, I've just been too busy; trying to pass all my classes, looking at colleges for next year, trying to get more work shifts so I can buy tickets to Kumoricon 13', and balancing a social life on top of it all.
Plus, this hasn't been the best year emotionally:
1.) My beloved Golden Retriever Maggie passed away in January at the young age of 6 years old. She had been living with cancer for months by then, taking it like a champ, when it finally got to her and she became too weak to even go for those long walks she loved to take. So we had her put to sleep. That was one of the most depressing days of my life.
2.) About a month later, a little Golden Retriever puppy named Lexi popped into my life. She's a beautiful little ball of energy, complete with, and I'm not kidding here, a naturally grown mo-hawk on her head! Despite how happy I was, I felt like I was betraying Maggie's memory by moving on so quickly.
3.) Just before the school year ended, one our seniors at the school had suddenly committed suicide. Apparently, he was an outgoing fun guy and no one knew he had been depressed. I didn't know the guy at all, but whenever I hear about things like that, it really hits me hard.
So yeah, not the most heartwarming year for me. But, now that I finally have free time, I can focus more on my art and writing.... at least until I get the second job my parents are forcing me to get.
