God no, just a 1-all lol. I doubt I'll be able to make myself play enough to ever do that, I don't particularly care for it. I'll probably try to at least activate the second loop but I'm in no hurry, I'd much rather clear Batrider Advanced and Garegga first :p

Yeah, same here- pretty sure you have to 1-life the game just to get to the second loop, right? God, I don't think I'll ever have that level of dedication. Still though, 1ccing Dodonpachi deserves props. I think I have a better chance of 1cc'ing some Cave greats though before doing anything by Raizing- I like their games but just can't deal with the rank system, heh.

The rank isn't as bad as people want you to believe if you just have a basic gameplan. And really I think pretty much anyone should be able to clear Batrider Normal course with a bit of practice. Battle Bakraid normal took VERY little effort to clear (Bakraid Advanced is a nightmare though).

The only game I can think of off the top of my head where you need to 1 life clear the first loop to get the second is Muchi Muchi Pork. For DDP I think you just have to hit a specific chain requirement based on the ship you selected, and collect all of the bees (maybe not even all of them? not positive on that part). I still don't like the idea of loops. I just don't like games that drag on forever.
