Yeah, I went to a con— RainFurrest 2011 which is local to me.

This was an unusual con for me, in that this was the first time I really felt like I was going specifically to hook up with people. The result was much more enjoyable than some of the other cons, where I felt a little lost.

I was able to get really nice prints from  dingbat,  kacey and Steve Martin (a Wilford print!). I also managed to get a ferret shot cup from Dingbat. I got my custom MLP badge from  mitti (as well as a print) and I was pleasantly surprised that she did my more complicated gramophone cutie mark. In addition, I picked up Heat Volume 7 from Sofawolf (with the story by  tgreyfox) and All The Newshounds Fit To Print by  tkdye.

Also got to talk to  nikonraccoon,  kturtle,  tkdye,  codyvfrost and  jhelfrich. Attended writing panels with Alan Dean Foster and  ravenwood. And of course, watching My Little Pony with a large group with muffins and cupcakes was a lot of fun.
