Fight to survive or peacfuly let go?
If humanity survives until the the 60th cosmological decade, also known as the black hole era, where all planets and stars have died and decayed into nothing and all that is left are black holes......Do you think humanity should strive to survive though whatever means (be it traveling though wormholes to sub-universes or recreating the big bang or whatever) or should they simply give up peacefully and just go with what is happening and decay with the rest of the universe? also say what you would do if you were in that situation, would you let go? (Im not saying give up because that just makes it look as if humanity has failed, when it clearly hasn't if its lasted this long)
Its a weird question, but im just interested in what people have to say.

I would try to go for another universe (seeing that we made it this far, why not?)... but seeing how humanity is with it's environment (aka: global warming, deforestation, etc.), I would just let go and do nothing cuz I would really hate to see another planet/universe go through the same things we are going through in this planet (or situations like them)... but IDK....
As for me, well... I would go for the idea to explore new universes and stuff but I would first make amends with people in my life (I want a clean mind to go with just in case anything goes wrong)... but since I am also sooo lazy, I would allow for nature to take it's course of action.... besides, who knows where a black hole could lead to?? Maybe another world (one with cookies perhaps? lol)?
But yeah, I really can't say for sure what I would do... I'm the kind of guy that's 50-50 until the situation demands 100...
=P
Thanks for your input. nobody else seems interested, I guess some just dont have the energy to think about it. but yeah I guess its kind of hard to say in such an ambiguous situation. well by that time we would probably be at a different civilization status where by we will have the technology to use the complete power of stars (wheres as now we use fossil fuels and such power from our own planet). As creating a wormhole (or Einstein Rosen Bridge as its sometimes called) to go where ever, another universe or even a time, it would need serious amount of energy, but who knows, we humans love to solve problems though technology.
And I also hope that we switch to some other kind of energy pretty soon or else we will be sleeping with the fishes... LITERALLY!!! and I'm not a very good swimmer (or a big fan of the ocean), so I would love to keep my Earth nice and dry wherever such conditions belong, thank you very much... maybe we can use a Bose-Einstien condensate for something useful (I don't think it will have much energy, but it is said that it can hold, or slow down, light... I just saw the whole video of Nova's Absolute Zero)...
*finger crossed for universe with cookies*
=P
haha nice one. =)
