I make fun of them all the time
But ther is a house representative in Texas named Ron Paul that ran for president i realy would have loved for him to be my president. Not obama.
We make all new modern technologies in medicine agriculture communications and in electronics
We make more money and work less than any other people in the world because we come up with new technology mainly because we're free to profit from our own ideas. It is the best incouragement for inventing a new technologies.
Long live american style capitalism and entrepreneurialism.
And I know you live in a county called "The United Kingdom"
It's not that I don't love other lands and other people its just I f-ing hate governments like mine but especially yours with the queen and all she's still in power, not cool.
Yeah you may have new technology but let's not forget who America is in debt with to obtain that process.
Why are you comfortable with that.
And I am not comfortable with the president being in almost total power.
wealth wise, if we do the same for GDP US still has more per 1,000 but only by $100,000 per 1,000 as the US has $46,613,418 GDP per 1,000 and the UK has $36,451,612 per 1,000. This isnt really unsurprising of course America is the current superpower, well for now but obviously the American style capitalism and entrepreneurial-ism has now fail and it needs to adapt and fast as well as the British Banking system.
Oh and for the least hours worked. In 2010, the average hours worked per person in the UK was 1,647 where as in the US this was 1,778. As to making more money because you come up with new technology well that's debatable, but 42% of the Federal income is from individual income tax and 40% is from payroll taxes but only 9% from corporate income tax.
Not because we are in debt to china its only a few hundred billion dollars any why, and so many other countries owe us money I herd its like 6 to 8 times more than what we owe China.
And do you know what debt to gross domestic product is?
It is the ratio to how much an individual or nation is in debt, in racin to to how much an individual or country makes (product money) in a year.
Look up the United Kingdom's gdp debt ratio and then compare it to Americas gdp debt ratio.
I don't know what it is but ill look it up and compare then post a link to my sources.
Also, the credit goes to the people who helped them create it in the first place. Lets face it, without China or Japans influence, technology would not be where it is at currently.
1) Why does 1 british man who was knitted any evidence for your argument. And he was just the head designer in a team of that must of been thousands who designed and developed Apple products?
2) Please show me where you got this data and why you only selected certain years and not the most recent and relevant years?
3) Why did you bring up tax percentages I don't understand that part?
4) The ratio of patents developed per number of people is void because patents are qualitative (meaning it is its quality its worth value, excetera) in value it has in improving in a society.
Like there is a patent on the yoyo but ther is no real value to society that a yoyo provides.
5) The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, it the definition for technology.
I feel because america is more free because of our it acknowledgement of our god given rights that our constitution merely lists and not gives us, we are able to develop new technologys improve our lives.
6) American style capitalism and entrepreneurialism is from our freedom from government suppression.
Being ability to profit from our work and new ideas is our biggest motivation to develop new technologys and we sell them to other countries.
2) there is only some data available from where i got it from, so I used what i could fine. I can not remember all the places i got it from sadly, i know i used wiki for a few things but I didn't bookmark any of the pages, but they were credible organizations.
3) I thought that you was saying America is rich because of its capitalism and entrepreneurialism most of the money is from tax payers pockets, I guess i might have gotten confused by your meaning.
4) I can understand that point and is partially true, some inventions and patients are more useful than others but again, how do you measure it to be more useful, you carnt really because you can just end up being ridiculous conclusions, e.g. the computer was a bad invention because it lead to society being more lazy (staying on our backsides, using computers all the time, ect), not that this matters because in my opinion the invention of the modern computer was a fantastic invention, but that is my point, the usefulness of an invention is a matter of opinion.
5) Ok, got the definition, I guess i agree with that but the second statement you might have to rephrase, as there is no way you could say one person is more free evidently, there is no god, hens no "god given right" and I doubt there is an evidence to suggest that being free (whatever that means) increases the development of new (and useful) technologies, only that and there may be a correlation between those with more money and those with less. I'm not really in the mood to test it but its a reasonable. hypothesis.
6) I have no idea what American style capitalism and entrepreneurialism is and I don't want to project myself as an expert in the area. from my basic understanding of it, this is the general way a lot of companies work all around the world, they invent something, they sell it and get profit, and develop other products/technologies. saying that you are able to profit from your work and the ability to make new technologies gives you the biggest motivation to develop new technologies means nothing as this is a general factor for all companies in all countries.
Given from what you said, saying that profit is a motivation for creating further technologies, don't you think that some technology this is useful to society should be free?
America is highly agricultural, why not give some of the knowledge to those who need it, such as those in Africa who are starving and are failing to produce a good yield.
Looking at it like that makes it nice and easy to distinguish who living in america are "american" and who are not.
This is an agenda that the republican party of texas wants to do, it is not law it is just one of fifty states political party opinion and it is just half the party structure in Texas too.
Read my countries constitution.
It is beautiful and it lists, not gives us our rights,
