Alright, this is something I've been thinking on for a LONG time, and I have finally come to the conclusion that Krystal Shinigami, the virginia opossom and one of the characters of mine that is most loved by other people, is NOT my fursona...or the character I want to represent me. She doesn't stand much for who I am, and because of my anger and depression I've pushed her through a lot of trouble as well and made her into a character she didn't start out to be.

Plus, there is the fact that I myself am not happy with who I am right now, and want to be able to fully accept all my problems as the first step to truly fixing them..

So, after much thought, I have finally come up with a new fursona. You will all be seeing her within the week. I have a sketch of her done, but I still need to scan/ink and color it.

Don't worry, Krystal isn't leaving, she's always going to be a very beloved character of mine..she's just not...well, me. I don't think she really ever was...

I went through the same thing. First I had Asphyxiation, then Tolera for a very brief time, then Leyla, and back to Asphyxiation after her redesign. Asphyxiation is who I am, and it took me some time to realize that. :3

yeah, this is only my 2nd time making a new character (3rd technically, I guess. Because I had Kyoni twice because I redesigned her once majorly before moving to Krystal)

The new character is a female Serval/Jackal Hybrid named Shirei. She's part undead, but not quite a zombie or a vampire, kinda an odd mixture...kinda hard to explain, really xD Still trying to think of a good way to make it valid xD

But yeah, I remember all those characters of yours xD I always loved Asphy, though. because I love rainbows so much (Shirei is actually gonna have a rainbow theme to her coloring as well, so it'll be cool)

I still have tons of other characters. I think I have 28 in all. Only three have been a fursona to me at some point. I'd like to see your character when you finish it. Do you want it to still be Krystal in that couple commission you asked for on Gaia?

Oh, I have so many characters I lost count after 50, because when I make one character I tend to make all their close family members (parents, siblings, ect) and any close friends of there...and it just keeps growing cause I keep getting ideas xD There has been many a time I thought one of my other characters would be better suited as my fursona, but none of them ever quite fit as much as I think Shirei is going to..because she truly is everythign I am, my good and my bad.

As for teh comission, how about you wait till I post up Shirei in the future, and I'll let you decide which character you'd find more interesting to draw, since you have drawn Krystal so much already xD

I never make the families, I just don't have the energy to try and keep track of every character I make. The only characters related are my two sets of twins, and Asphyxiation and Injection (renamed to Infection).

And that's fine with me :D

I really only have 4 main families (Malkat, Carpathien, Cane, and Shinigami) I've made now that It hink abou tit, all the rest of my characters are mostly by themselves or have no real families to talk about.

haha, the only reason any of my charactesr are grandparents is because their kids had children recently xD all the grandchildren are no older then like 10-12 xD but I havne't gone further then that, truthfully. I don't even think I have any characters that could be called anything further then "Grandma" by another character xD

hmm.....i sketched your trade of krystal, its just needs to be colored. but i am confused now, since your making a new fursona. so i want to ask you shingami, you still want the krystal pic? i would hate to have to restart drawing a new pic all over again. : just wondering, i wanna know before i continue ^^;

go ahead and finish the one you're working on. Just because I have a new fursona doesn't mean Krystal has dissapeared out of existence xD
