Couldn't it always be possible for it to be the same hacker (or hackers) spamming the same page, getting bored (maybe waiting for him to be banned), leaving, then coming back later on when bored once again? I have seen a few random accounts on here get hacked more than once.
How exactly is this "in this dudes favor?"
Also, from what I've seen, after all that spamming is done, everything relating to the spamming is deleted. Maybe he got control back? I mean, you don't always need an admin, at least in my opinion. Plus I'm sure leaving the FA page can easily make you vulnerable to another attack since technically, you're not logged in.
Well, you're probably right. Although, still, whenever you leave FA either by closing a window or going to a completely different website, you're logged off until you come back, if I'm right. I have done this thing where I log in on my e-mail account on two computers, and until I say otherwise, I'm automatically logged in on either one. Just saying, but it is possible the hacker leaves the page, Kex comes back, tries to fix it, leaves, then the hacker gets back on and starts up again. I'm just guessing, of course. Plus hackers can work in mysterious ways. Never always predictable and even does some odd things.
Plus as I said, could be the same hacker(s) as before, and TechKat is kind of right about FA not being the most secure site, so even if you change your password, it doesn't protect you 100%, although I do wonder why he simply didn't change accounts myself. Maybe just rather not or something. I suppose. And, well...since Kex has been here ever since 2007, I'm sure he's fully aware of the rules and knows he would simply be banned if he pulled that stunt. Why a staff didn't fix this, I dunno (Although since MFF is going on, there might not be this many around. Also, didn't this kind of happen during some huge con before? I forgot.). Honestly, I sent a TT as soon as I saw the first submission cause I knew what was happening.
As for one comment that isn't in this journal about the hacking stopped. Maybe the hacker's goal was to either get Kex banned or make him leave? Truthfully, I don't know. I just think something fishy is going on is all. It might not matter too much now since he he supposedly decide to leave. It's probably for the best anyway. He might get a new account in the future. Who knows? At least it's over.
So what if it was a hacker? Or if he was just pulling a joke?
Keep away from the account, no drama will happen.
I'm just saying. :/
*Plays RCT3 instead, kills peeps, yay!*
I should've put Unknowns. :P
"Are those melons?"
or
"Did you steal bananas today?"
:)
they still determine for themselves what they are.
usually have to get to know them, know people who knows them to figure that out.
"Dont hate me! I suicide then!"
"Please ignore this account! It's not me! It's a hacker!"
Second comment makes more sense.
My bad.
