Rationally, posing as a hacker and flooding the gallery with the same two pictures proclaiming your love of masturbation, suicide and crocodiles is not something that should ever, be considered acceptable behavioir. It is an obvious cry for help, but when every single journal, profile update, and some "story" that is posted goes on about how they are the loneliest person crocodile in the world, how no one loves him, and how he has no friends or brothers, it's bad (the rest of the "stories" feature computers, hoses and some form of baked good). Of course the most prominent response to that is...flat out ignoring it, no one cares.

That's where the two groups come in, the trolls, who tell them no one cares, and the enablers, who pretend to care. You can brand someone a troll if you want, but it's no better than being an enabler. If anything enablers are worse because sometimes the troll manages to make their targets quit the internet and sort their life out, like they should have been doing from the beginning. The enablers however, they do exactly what their name implies, enable. With a kind word and all the compassion they can muster they give the cry out a shoulder to sob on and every bit of reason to do it again in the future when everyone is still ignoring their pleas for attention. The cycle repeats and a new enabler answers the call.

For our blue croc friend here, he constantly did this "no one like me" routine, Then of course, no one responded; not even the trolls. I'm being literal, he hand no trolls the only people to respond were the enablers. The sadder greater irony is that if they hadn't kept making him think that crying out and throwing himself the worlds largest pity party was a good thing, he may have tried to actually talk with someone. I mean, honestly, the guy loved

Make a list of every name on FA and pick one at random, chances are the furry probably enjoys one of those two on some level. Multiple clubs and second accounts made solely to a devotion of them, and all he had to do was try to talk; someone would of accepted him (Eventually). The even greater and even sadder irony in it all though is that Kex Andy was popular. Take a look 15000 pages views. That's only 3k behind the mr vinvulpis up there whom you say isn't helping at all, and he's an actual artist. This of course is suggesting that page views determine popularity, but a hefty chunk of people know who you were talking about when you say "Blue vector recolour" in the same sentence with "inflation", at leat to the point where his name could be considered "Droppable". He was popular among his fans (he had many) in the same way watching a ship sink or a car explode is popular. Maybe not the exact reason he wanted to be known for, but it's ture.

Let's go back to the whole enabler vs troll though before I end this, because I'm fairly sure you're going to brand me the latter regardless of what I say, knowing a bit more about enablers may help you. Trolls, say what they do for their own entertainment, or the entertainment of other peopel who watch the troll or just have a sharp eye. Enablers don't, tey are all in it for themselves. Making others seemingly content with something they shouldnt' be, makes them feel fantastic, gives them purpose and oh...meaning? We've already established that they arent' helping out their victims, their helping themselves. Boy it feels good, I know it does, help out a lot of people....but only those who need it. Walk right past the hobo on the street that sits there every morning and has for the last 5 years, oh he's nice, he's polite, giving him that dollar though (he actually doesn't like coins) is just another day he'll sit infront of the grocery store. Just enabling him to do it, same as people who white knight these victims of trolls enable them to just keep on doing everything exactly as they are.

So I have a question for you, why exactly are you posting here in this journal. Helping someone feel better?

As one of those fans....hmm, since I'm labeling everything we'll call them Nascar fans, because they are just in it for the downfall/destruction and don't give three figs about the race itself, I'm here to wittness the end of the race finally. Had one heck of a finish, ad really it was only a matter of time before it all came down, but there you have it, off to the next one. It probably starts tomorrow when we find the first suspension evasion account.

I think I understand where you were getting at, and frankly, I do agree. Kex needs to stop sulking on the internet and move on with his life. He needs to stop sitting and crying when nobody comments on the stories that he has uploaded five times prior, which are obviously written to attract nobody but himself. But face it. This is one troubled kid that we're talking about. Like you said, he's got the hots for big things and a cartoon crocodile, whom he would keep chained in the basement to prevent from leaving. If that's not a cry for help, then I failed psychology class. And I didn't fail psychology. (ugh use of discrete math in the real world? I never thought it would happen). I think, what he needed more than views and comments and faves, was a friend. He just needed someone to talk about these things with. Isn't that why most furries join the fandom? To be amongst people that share a similar interest? Such a troubled mind doesn't just happen, so there is obviously something outside the internet that was bothering him. And suicide threats, even if they are empty, are not jokes. When someone threatens to take their life, even if they do not mean it, it's a cry for help. Kex didn't need enablers or trolls, he needed somebody to talk to; a friend, for a lack of a better term.

Now, who am I to say that any of this is certain? I could, quite possibly, just making an ass out of myself by assuming these things... I'm really not anybody who should be making these assumptions. Kex needs to go to a psychologist, he needs to be completely open about EVERYTHING, and maybe then we'll see some improvement.

As for me? I guess I am an enabler. Truth be told, I wasn't looking for any fulfillment or happiness or whatever when I was trying help. I just didn't wanna see a life go to waste because of something so trivial.

I can tell you from experience that people who try to be his friend are usually met with absolutely no reciprocity, and that more than anything is why friendships fail. He doesn't want a friend in the truest sense, he wants someone to be able to talk to him all day every day and give him hugs and kisses whenever anyone says something he doesn't like, or when things don't go his way. He's socially dysfunctional and absolutely requires professional help to overcome that.
