The more your post, the more notoriety you'll get for doing stitched work, and the more fans of stitched work you shall obtain.

Also make sure you stitch some penises. Then you'll be popufur.

I have entertained the thought of stitching linework of pr0nz on, like, a fancy doily for kicks. I'm hardly the first (or even the fifth) embroiderer to think of the idea, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun.

Once I get through my queue of holiday-gift crafting, I want to fiddle around with some fandom-specific pieces. Like cloth badges, maybe? Back to custom plushes? I haven't done a plush in forever...

I think a cloth badge would be a fantastic idea. When I was at MFF, I saw a person with a badge made of seed beads that a friend made him, and even though it was only mediocre, he was the bell of the ball as far as uniqueness goes. Everyone loved it! It's fun to have a badge made of something unorthodox.

Same goes for plushies, really. At Artist's Alley, there was only 1 person doing plushies in about 2 dozen people. She got a lot of attention because she was doing something rare. There was also 1 person doing woodworking, and 1 person doing leather badges. They seemed to have commission work at all times.

It certainly is difficult. I lucked out by grabbing up the project of remaking that old Twincest comic (over on my 18+ account), and that landed me a TON of attention, since it already had a following to begin with. Before then though? I had nothin'

Maybe you could do a cross stitch of the main characters from the comic, just something cute and sweet. I could post it on my other account and link back to you, and lead some watchers your way, perhaps. I dunno if it'll work, but if you feel up to it, I'd be glad to oblige *shrugs*

Ah yes, the whole dealings with school, thing. No hurry or anything getting your stuff though, I just didn't want you to think I was stealing it or something, heh. Sunday sounds fine, and you don't have to stay long if you've got stuff to do. You two can just swing by for a quick coffee and a chat if you like (assuming fran can leave the house at all), and then head on your way. I don't mind short visits ^^
