It's amazing here. It's already almost time to go home as I type this. :( I love it here. I haven't run into too many of the famous "friendly Carioca" natives here yet. I've run into a couple but I'm guessing because it was Carnaval time there were all somewhere else, except for those who have to stay and work.

I've had so much fun here. I've been with friends who are visiting down here but they leave today. Sad about that. I've seen so much since I've been here. We went to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado Hill, went to the Sambadrome, went to Sugar Loaf mountain yesterday and strolled down Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. It's been amazing and I'd like to stay longer. But money is an issue. It's fairly cheap here although it seems like I've spent so much money lol.

I still have a day left to soak everything in before I return home.
It'll be just me now since my friends are leaving today so I'm gonna entertain myself in some way. I still would like to see the Maracana but it's in a bad part of town. We'll see how it goes I still have my heart set on hanggliding! :)
