Toys For Tots Comedy Tour!
Well, Tonight was a great night for comedy.
A good cause, a packed house, & a lot of laughs.
I personally am thankful to the other comedians who came out and Donated their time for this charity. It is one of the subtle reminders why I am an entertainer in the first place.
Anywho. People keep in touch. I may be attempting to post up an audio sample later if I can track one down.
Later
And as always
Peace!

I did find out that one of the worse opening liners for a show like this. Thanks to another comedian was something akin to.
"If Santa were smart he would just drop some boxes for these kids. And lets face it. Every kid's dream is to have their own room."
I don't think I have ever seen a comic run that quickly off of a stage in my life.
Bad timing or just a shit joke in general, you decide. Could've been in bad taste, as for all I know TFT could be a charity for sick and/or handicapped children, I genuinely have no idea.
Of course, in a different venue a story about the failed joke could get the guy some laughs.
I take you enjoyed yourself then? :)
Toys for Tots is an organization that gathers gifts and donations for seriously under privileged children.
It was in very very poor taste.
But I think he may have given me some ideas on a sketch oddly enough.
Offense is a strange thing. Rarely given but always taken. A good example of that is a joke Jimmy Carr told last year that caused a few politicians to voice their disapproval in the media.
"Say what you like about our soldiers coming back injured from Afghanistan, but we're going to have a fucking brilliant Paralympics team in 2012!"
It was a strange and typical news-inspired backlash which involved numerous vox-pops from people who hadn't actually heard the joke before the journalist stopped them in the street and read it out to them in an acidic tone, but were filmed repeatedly over and over again until they could form enough words to sound convincing enough to pretend they were actually offended. It was like watching Fox News on a quiet day.
Jimmy, having been delivered growing pressure to stop being a comedian, was backed into a corner and delivered what seemed like a suicidal gesture.
"Find one soldier in the British Armed Forces who's retuned from Afghan offended by that joke and I'll apologise to them in person."
It's been two years... They're still looking.
Personally I am been learning different languages so that I can tell people in each language that finds a few of my jokes offensive to Kiss my ass. But that's just the thing. People find that funny. I actually had someone ask me the other day, "Dude, How come you don't say F**k more? F**k is a funny word. I am just saying"
Part of me wanted to say F**k off, the other part of me just ignored it.
In the end, someone is gonna get pissed off with a comedian.
Best comment I have ever been hit with.
A good comedian will make you laugh, A great comedian will make you think.
