a quick note to parents (rant)

okay, first if all i must state i know a bit about parenting. besides the RPs, ive also taken care of my brothers children, and have an adopted daughter of my own, so yes i do know what im saying.
thats settled right? good, now i want to send a message out to anyone out there who knows any that fit this rage, as some to most parents are becomeing ignorant, lazy, and worse.
recently, my daughter had a really bad day, not going to say who or where she is, just that shes not with me fully yet. shes 14 and haveing to deal with drama usualy high school students and some adults deal with. she nearly hung herself, thank god she didnt, but heres what she told me was the issue.
her peers at school started spreading rumors not only behind her back, but in front of her as well, these rumors are things such as; dirty pussy, fucks and makes out with any guy she can, she slits her wrists, and the lists go on. all throughout the rumors, there is constant use of profanity, even she knows most of the words, termonology, and even how sex is preformed.
whats this have to do with parents you may ask? well its the parents who teach them this, or allow them free reign on the internet. imagine if your son or daughter found this sight, signed up, and found the "yes i am 18" button? they get information they shouldent get untill later in life. its like if you hand a 3-4 year old a playboy magazine.
we have girls at a young age dressing and acting like hookers, boys trying to be 'gangsta', kids all around learning so much of the bad stuff from parents and their choises in music, choises in movies, choices in words and clothes especialy
if you know anyone like this who speaks profanity in front of a child, please ask them to use a diffrent word or something, anything really. if my daughter is at risk for depression and suicidal thoughts, that means the age for it is getting lower and lower, untill pretty soon, it ends in grade school and nobody will grow up to be a good adult.
spread the word, depression in teens is dangerous, bullying really doesnt help, and parents need to help end this before it gets out of hand

But yeah you do have a point there. We can't blame the games or tv shows but sometimes it does cause SOME people to do stupid things. Like how a boy died from imitating Naruto :|
When I was growing up my family taught me right from wrong and what is real and not real. I never knew sex till I was 15-16 I didn't know the names. Yet when growing up I wanted rated R horror movies and things like that. Yet look at me now. I was tormented and abused by people yet I am still alive no doubt.
1) Parents well blame all those things, and comics, games, anime, anything thazt takes blame off them.
2) It's actualy not always the parents fault. My 2 cousins, who were about 7 and 10 when this was the case. They were not allowed to listen to rap, or anything else with foul language. HOWEVER. We lived in a ghetto district, so they would go to school and all the stuff theyre being told not to indulge in, is handed to them by the kids who's parents dont care, and they end up getting in trouble for it at home.
I like rap, but when my 7 year old cousin is singing " I can make your bed rock " and putting my name in it, i have to draw the line. No 7 year old should be saying sexual things in my name, especialy my own blood.
3) As i said before it's not always the parents fault, i had friends bring me porn, violant moives and games,a nd all sorts of things my mom didnt approve of. When parents are busy like my single Mother of 2, just trying to live it's hard to keep track of who and what your kids interact with.
