I never got to see the end credits, the original series I used to watch when I was nine was taped from TNT cable by my aunt and uncle.

If a colony of anthropomorphic people were found, I'm afraid they would be held at arms length for quite a long time for the simple fact that more people would likely want to initially study them than ponder their worth on a "human" sense. I do believe people in general would begin to accept them, but just how long that would take I could not begin to estimate.

But to assume that technological advancement will bring victory in itself is a mistake along the lines of ohhh..Vietnam, Little Bighorn, and various skirmishes between the Spanish and 'Savages'

For a start, when they are discovered the landing and their existance will be covered up by the governments of the world and people will be told that a small meteor hit Earth. Then, secret government agencies will do tests on the anthros to discover what they are dealing with.

Conspiracy theorists will have got wind of something bigger than a meteor hitting the Earth and will be rallying the troops of animal rights activists and anyone else interested in taking down the higher authorities. There will be mass demonstrations at all of the major political buildings across the world and people will become paranoid as to what is here.

The anthros in the meantime will see the kidnapping as an attack on them and so will call re-enforcements. There is no way that the government can cope with the sheer amount of ships that land and so news gets spread of the 'invasion'. The anthros state their intentions that they want their people back and the peoples of the countries are with them. The governments have to bow to the pressure and so have to release them. As for afterwards, no idea and I've talked for too long.

As for your other question, I love seeing what you come up with so draw what you like. And I haven't forgotten about the gift art for you. Things have been hectic to say the least x.x

Actually, considering how hostile intelligent beings can be to the strange and unfamiliar (though I'm generalizing based on the only known intelligent species), *not* being armed is foolish. Hell, Starfleet professes to be peaceful explorers, but still carry weapons.

And we see how well that works out. In just about every episode they end up having to run because for all their technology, they aren't invincible.

It's not as though we don't have the nukes to spare, and the paranoid fools willing to use them.

In the scenario Norithics is postulating, the furries are going to be outnumbered, and quite likely outgunned as well. Given that they are supposed to integrate with our society, there is apparently something, be it that they came here accidentally through a tear in space-time, or their ship has become inoperable to make retreat an impossible option.

I really, really don't like to think about what'd happen to furries that appear to have technological superiority. Fanatics tend to not care about the losses they take in human wave attacks to take down the 'evil invaders'.

Well, yes, it can, except the problem is it isn't a static medium, changes tend to be noticed and information proliferates quickly, very fasts and efficient tactics are required to completely suppress information on it. Most people mistakenly believe the kind of hacking you're describing is "Easy", because they watch too many movies. Its certainly possible, but doing it in an unnoticed and comprehensive fashion is very, very hard. Pretty much trying to do it would alert pretty much everyone on the 'net that something is up.

On the lines of what would happen if anthros were discovered here on earth, I honestly don't know what would happen. There's a good chance that humanity may try to capture and study them to found out how they came to be, but chances are also good that the anthros may be considered as equals rather than test subjects. History has proven that humanity can be at it's best or at it's worst when something completely changes life as we know it.

As for what you should draw more of, I'm not quite sure either. If you really need ideas, you're always free to draw some of my characters, like Chelsea or the Pirate Vixens. It might be interesting to see how you would render them. You could also draw some more pregnancy pics, and the stuff you did so far on the Prostitute's Guild looks pretty interesting. So I guess you could try that.

The answer to your first question is dependent on several factors, such as, "Where did they land?" "How technologically advanced were they?" "How many were there?" "How public was their landing?" "Which organizations found out, when, and how fast did they act?"

The results could vary from, "Worshiped as gods" to "Killed on sight." With everything in between.

I suppose the answer to the furries landing would depend upon how much power they can wield. The first thing that pops into my mind would be and Alien Nation situation. But more than likely I see Governments trying to cover up their existence for our safety followed by religious groups trying to destroy them for our purity.

It'd sure be a loooong time before such a group could gain widespread respect as equals at the very least.

Unfortunately, the xenophobic tendencies of the average human are.. absolutely primal. The first instinct from military and civilian alike would probably be to command and conquer. Death to the mutants, research labs and the whole grim nine yards.

Assuming they had the technological/magical/psychic advantage to repell such first impression attacks, I'm still fairly certain that the ruling super powers would adopt an untrusting/borderline war attitude. Unlike 'people from the sky', half human/half animal hybrids have no special place in any religious text as far as I know; so they would probably only be greeted as gods in less organized tribal societies (and again, that's after they bring gifts and such. 'Freaks' just wandering about end up on pikes).

In short, a new furry race/nation would probably have to present the cure for cancer (for free) and promise some export of exceptional importance before any modern nation would open up and welcome them as trade partners and allies.

In my opinion, any 'new sentient life form' is going to meet this kind of opposition unless they present from the get-go a sort of power/superiority which implies they could wipe us off the fucking earth if they got upset. Grey midget aliens land on the white house lawn in a vehicle the size of a chevy truck, they're getting swept into a bunker for research at first sight. 12 foot tall purple space orges hover over the eastern seaboard in a ship the size of Manhattan, and we'll be negotiating peace and prosperity the second we have an open com channel.

Humanity is a bully, and like all bullies, we're cowards against anything we can't punch in the face and get away with it.

Obviously, they'd have to go on the run from federal agents, and hide out in some kid's bedroom while doing so, blending in with the piles of stuffed toys every time a grownup peeked into the room.

More than likely I've made my storylines pretty clear on the aspect of genetic engineering a race of anthros. Much like animals they'd be superior as far as strength and are just as smart as we train them.
In relation to the question though--
...if they just suddenly appeared with no explanation, they might be looked at with curiosity and secrecy instead of running up and greeting ourselves to them. People get killed and eaten that way (our scholars tell us this is pork! Very delicious, thank you!)
Once it goes public there is certain to be an outcry of those who dislike things that are different, and consider these creatures to be evil or some kind of hellspawn. Whether this race is civilized or not more than likely there'll be a large majority who'd fear them as savages or still prone to be 'wild' and could possibly attack.

... if they LANDED here however has so many other possibilities! Those privvy to the event would accept that they must be intelligent and civilized for they were intuitive enough to invent interstellar travel after all! IF in the event it was kept within a secret circle of people, they may have a chance of communicating effectively with mankind and might not decide we are not too war-like to open channels with.
But MIB said it best with the line 'a person is smart but people are stupid' and public knowledge would more than likely throw our society into a bit of chaos. Honestly, with all our up-to-the-second technology we can't even get breaking news straight! We'd have groups that shout end of the world, groups that declared these beings evil (God made Man in His image and doing so with an animal is flat out blasphemy bla bla bla), those who's spiritual beliefs are totally thrown for a loop now that we are not the only island in the universe that inhabits life, we are not the sacred chosen etc etc.. (I had a GREAT argument with someone who was a College teacher on how perfectly aligned we are to the Sun and there has to be a higher power who made us and positioned our planet so, made the perfect weather, oxygen mixture etc... MY argument is that I didn't think God was limited to science like he seemed to believe. He was successfully pissed off) I'd even think there'd be a 50/50 chance we'd declare war on the visitors but also an acceptance that if they have such advanced technology they more than likely have the technology to wipe us off the planet. So our military and our superiors would more than likely back down and wait....

Yes we'd have those who'd shout "INVASION!" and those who'd scream "EVIL!!" but overall if the alien landing was public we'd have more displayed curiousity than panic. There'd be the underlying tone of End of the World but I tend to think we'd be more accepting of an alien race than a land borne race.

If they're suspected as aliens, they'd all possibly be questioned about where they came from or their purpose. *Most* furries arent supposed to be evil, they're (supposedly) people just like us. They act as people, so there's good and bad. But there'd possibly be another segregation thing, like in the fifties with black people. But the laws against segregation ended like in the sixties, so there shouldn't be segregation, just acceptance. Before you know, there's gonna be like, furry gangs, furry corporations, and all sorts of crap. possibly half of each race would have to be eradicated to keep population down (hope
