How many of these also apply to you?
1) Being shy and reclusive (possibly because openly mundane people often seem kind of creepy).
2) Watching werewolf movies at a very young age because its "neat when they transform".
3) Playing lots of video games.
4) Drawing more anthro video game/comic/cartoon characters than any others
5) Reading cyberpunk novels,
6) Falling in love with Nature
7) Open minded philosophical parent obsessed with computers that drew/painted wildlife for a living/hobby
