Yet another great reason to wander aimlessly in the forest:

I went on a hike just before dusk last night and was surprised to happen upon a mother porcupine and its spiky little baby waddling along the side of the trail. The adorable duo seemed to make an already magical evening even more awesome.
Perhaps in their own humble little rodent-ly fashions (porcupines are a type of rodent) they just stopped by to let me know I should pad around in the woods just before dusk a bit more often. I also think they might have said maybe, if you get the time, you should too. ^ ^
