Serious question for anyone who might care.....

I want to write. I went through 110 credit hours of college and unpayable debt to realize the only thing I might be able to do professionally in my lifetime is write. Should I try to keep writing even though it will turn my working class poverty life inside out? Right now writing is the only thing keeping me afraid of death. Without writing I welcome death at any time. I've been living for years ready to die.
I want to write Furry Cyberpunk Horror. If I write it without sex scenes do you think other furs would still buy it at a convention if it became infamous for giving any fur who reads it nightmares?

I find Kyell Gold's writing in collaboration with Rukis's art in the Dangerous Spirits series to be inspirational in this regard.
Furthermore I don't think stories that feature graphic depictions of sex can even speak to the reader about sex as powerfully as a story that merely leads the reader to create the graphic depictions in their own head instead of spelling it out for them on the page. In other words the best smut they may be looking for can't be written for them; the author gives them just enough crumbs for them to be able to build it up in their own head.......if they want to. Another advantage is that if a different reader isn't looking for a a sexual experience they won't see it because its not there.
Writing about Sex in any story is like writing about a monster in a horror story. The less it is described, and the more it lurks just out of view interacting just enough to let you know it still exists the more terrifying it becomes.
