I feel the world is still out to get me

Hello everyone,
I have a problem trusting people. I feel like no matter how many people I run I across the world is still out to get me. Even with my friends, they do all they can to help me and yet I still feel I need to keep tabs on them for a "just in case" scenario. I can't remember a time I wasn't like that, I always hoped the more friends I made and people I got to know it would go away. Yet I feel like it only gets worse. I wish I knew what caused it but the only I can think of is being picked on and being an outcast as a child.

If you believe friends are also not trustworthy, more friends only men more risks. So I think you're right in trying to find where that belief come from.When you resolve tht, you can truly enjoy friendship and that's what I wish for you.

If your problems with trust are based on your own faults and limitations then sure, perhaps the world is out to get you. But if the things you feel you'd be criticized for are irrelevant or just plain bullshit, then I'd suggest seeking professional help. Through therapy with or without meds you could indeed feel alot more secure.
