A real shocking article. I always feared this kind of stuff even though I keep my nose fairly clean. But this kind of mistreatment is horrifying. This is abuse, plan and simple, abuse of power, abuse of a human being. It's upsetting to read. Hopefully the lawsuit will be a victory and will be a message to all police departments that this kind of abuse will not be tolerated.

Anyway, yeah. These assholes (the police) will get what's coming to them; whether it be an angry 'routine traffic stop' victim or a drug dealer with a gun.
A lot of cops (and other people in "authority") abuse their power and it's sickening.
They need a serious change in behavior towards others.
I remember the instance with the Occupy protester and that in itself was bad enough, but knowing that it wasn't exactly an isolated incident is just ridiculous. Dehumanizing someone like that, and the fact that these are people in law enforcement? I'd like to know how they can sleep at night when they pull this kind of behavior, during their JOBS, that is unwarranted and absolutely mortifying for a person to undergo.
But yes this article is fucking bullshit in the highest degree.
