Sleep paralysis
So last night, while fast asleep I suddenly and unexpectedly woke up. I kinda shot back into a half state of wakefullness. So I wanted to rub my eyes and to my panic I couldn't.
I was paralysed right there. I couldn't move no matter how much I wanted to. It was very strange, kinda scary. I quickly recognised it for what it was and was thankfull I didn't hallucinate an evil precense so commonly associated with sleep paralysis. I closed my eyes and resolved to go back to sleep.
Idon't know wether that made it better or worse, but as I closed my eyes I could feel my entire body twisting and distorting, like somebody was kneading it like clay. And my eyes oh god, sleep is called REM (Rapid Eye Movement) for a reason! I fucking felt my eyes twitch and jerk into every direction.
It was pretty scary but I got back to sleep again and entered into a very livid lucid dream. (yeah I googled all this) basically a dream which feels very real (to me it felt like all emotions were amplified) in which I realize I am dreaming. I woke up when my alarm went off and had forgotten the rest.
Well that surely was a once in a lifetime experience...

The annoying part is that you also can't reposition your body in a more 'comfortable' pose. X.x
The drug trip esque dream is scary as hell, it felt as if my brain was going haywire, trying to debug something but doesn't know how to resolve the error. (kind of like as if someone thought it was funny to connect your brain to the electric outlet.)
Well luckily it happens only once in a lifetime at the best. =3
I envy you man.
I've been trying to have a lucid dream for years!
