Wish I can tell them that it's quality over quantity when it comes to lifting, but fuck it, everyone generally under the age of fucking 25 thinks they know everything already, so let them hurt themselves.
But yeah, if you're lifting two 95 pound dumbbells, but are only barely lowering the weights, that means LOWER THE MOTHER-FUCKING POUNDAGE, YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO LIFT THAT MUCH. A properly done lift is better than a shitty lift at too high a weight.

if you have access to "Horizon" through netflix, definitely check it out. Horizon: the Truth about Exercise. guy actually underwent a study that proved that you only need something like one minute of high-intensity cardio a day (three reps of 20 seconds each) to get the best health benefits.
Though I'm also of the opinion, that dudes should be allowed to only wear jockstraps. *nod*
