... yesterday.
Yeah, couldn't do this yesterday though because I was touring around NYC. I had a blast, though. I've never been to New York before. Even though my mother insists I have, as I tend to say, "If I don't remember it, it didn't happen." :P So I got to see the Empire State Building and got a great view of the city. Toured around Central Park and saw the Balto statue, which I honestly don't think I would've felt complete had I not gotten the chance to see. Went to the site of the World Trade Center, but I couldn't go to the memorial. Apparently you have to get passes online before you go in order to get in. So that was unfortunate. Went to battery park. Wanted to go to liberty island, but since the statue was closed off, I decided against it. We also went and got pizza from Lombardi's Pizzeria, which is considered the oldest (currently debatable) pizzeria in the country. It was eh. Sorry, but for the time we spent getting there, waiting to get in, and spending the money for food that wasn't that good just so we could eat at a national relic really makes me wish we'd eaten somewhere else. *shrugs* Oh well, at least TGI Friday's was good.
Now I'm back home, about to go see a movie. So yeah, I've had an eventful last two weeks. So yeah, I'm done traveling for a while... at least until I move back to Alabama for a few months. 'Course after that I'm heading back to California for a few years. *sighs* Oh well, I'm used to it.
Bye!
