We're gonna be playing on cockatrice at some point. I'm not entirely sure when. WIth luck, it'll even be with everyone who signs up, although there are problems present with that. We'll see.

There is a second banlist, which a lot of people play with, although it's geared more for 1v1 games rather than multiplayer. Also, is there any changes with infect? Or for that matter, cards like Sorin Markov and Magister Sphinx?

Well, Sorin and Sphinx are both rather obnoxious cards that set a players life to 10, and in EDH, that is a hell of a lot. Same with infect, killing someone with only 10 damage is simply rude. A lot of playgroups ive heard of some playgroups have had rules like Sorin and Sphinx set life to 20 rather than 10 and you need to deal 15 damage with infect to be lethal as well.

Just a thought.

Hey, at least they changed the way Poison works. I used to have a deck (not EDH though) that ran snakes that did direct damage to murder people. Poison was just 'did damage' so it'd use things like Telekinesis, I think the enchant was, that let it tap to deal one damage. Put it on a Poison 2, and have some untappers...

Well, neither of those rules are official, just things that ive found through playing a lot of EDH over the years.

Well, we'll see what houserules are needed later.

I do need to see if my (recently fixed) Doran deck works. I got yelled at last time I played it because 'treefolk aren't real creatures' and that I was running basic mana. >.>

There will be no slivers in this tournament. At least not as a main run. Slivers are evil and slivers are sly, and if anyone's eaten, then you're getting kicked. Plus, they are *the* worst creatures in Magic, bar none, not even the Eldrazzi. No.
