Furry Down Under 2012 = Awesome

For those who were able to make it up to FurDU, you know what I am talking about. For the rest of you: long story short - FurDu was one giant party from go to whoa. Kudos are due to OzKangaroo, FlameDrake, Joeyjoejoe and all the rest of the FurDU team, as well as to all of the attendees who made it go off.
When not out on the con floor, I made myself a second home at the bar (Cuba Libres FTW!). I also found a Point Blank 2 machine (I wasted so much time in uni on this game), and Nickelodeon on the hotel cable (I Angry Beavers). So all in all - a most enjoyable experience. I for one can't wait to do it again.
And for those who were wondering who was that devilishly repugnant rogue having a DTD made while the gaming panel was on - that was me (sorry I missed your presentation TinyCat, mea culpa). My thanks go to AtalonTheDeer for helping me make it. It has now arrived at RegalWolfStudios and shall soon become a new fursuit for me to terrorise the general populace with.
I even got to take my new partial suit out - introducing Paramyhr the Puma aka "Para" - thanks go to atpaw for his camera work (and yes, I subscribe to the Marvel Comics school of name creation).
Para is "teh funzors" to be out and about in - so props go to Snapcat for his work on designing him; although I am still working out the issues that glasses cause with fursuit heads (i.e. fogging up and not fitting properly) - contacts are looking like a good option, and failing that: spoggles. To anyone who saw me at the Friday night dance - I wasn't ignoring you, I just couldn't see you - sorry.
Here's hoping that Para will make another appearance at the Mid-May Meet in Sydney.
I also got a coyote partial fursuit off MistyStriker - can't fit my glasses on with him, so he only got to trundle around the convention centre, but he is also great fun.
Fun fact - fursuiting is a great way to warm up in cold weather.
I met a whole heap of awesome characters there at FurDU (you all know who you are - and yes you are awesome), and I look forward to having a drink and a laugh with them again in the future - either in Sydney, Melbourne, or back up on the Gold Coast.
Now onto more serious news - I'm currently in the process of moving house - so I will not have much access to teh Intertubes for the next few weeks (and that me me a saaad pand.. er lynx). But on the plus side, I don't have to waste 5 hours of my day commuting any more.
I'll see you all around next time - to quote the sage advice of my father:

That is some seriously epic advice :)
