My Goodness, Where Has the Time Gone?
Greetings fair reader.
The more astute of you will have noticed that I have not posted a journal since just prior to FurDU 2013. This has been due to a number of reasons, not least of which being I didn't really have much to post about.
To quickly recap the last 10 months - I did manage to do a little bit of suiting last year. In addition to FurDU, I also made it out to Winter Magic, the Bathurst Bowling Meet, RivFur and FurJam. I regret that I haven't many photos to share with you as most are uploaded to Facebook. Since I don't have an account on that service, I can't find them.
I also regret not being able to make it out to Confurgence this year, but events conspired against me. However there is always next time.
Anyways, I'm currently aiming to take part in the Sydney Mardi Gras parade again this year, and I am at present gearing up to go to FurDU 2014 (saving my pennies and what not). I hope to see many familiar faces there, and perhaps meet some new ones.
Now that I have my retrospective out of the way, on to the real reason for this journal:
I have been somewhat remiss in my duties in uploading artwork I have commissioned from several talented members of our community over the past few months. This isn't very fair on them as their work ends up moldering away on my rapidly failing hard drive, and their artwork deserves to be shared.
With that in mind, I will be uploading my backlog of commissioned artwork over the next few days. You can probably see most of it already in my favorites list; but then again, you may want to know the story behind some of the pieces I have commissioned over the past few months.
So until next time, stay safe and have fun.
