Mitt Romney has declared war against me

People who know me know that I tend to be somewhat outspoken politically.
However, from the day I first joined FA, and up until today, I have never once posted anything political in any of my journals. I just didn't feel it was the place to do so. I've confined my angry diatribes to subjects ranging from NEW KNIGHT RIDER: GOD, DOES IT SUCK to BOY, APPLE SURE HAVE HAD THEIR HEADS RAMMED UP THEIR BACKSIDES LATELY to WINDOWS 8! AUGH!
Unfortunately, a situation has now arisen that compels me to talk about it and this seems to be the best place to lay it out on the table, before those who it will impact the most:
"Trueman, the president of Morality in Media, contacted the Romney campaign earlier this year about the “untreated pandemic” of Internet pornography. “They got back to us right away,” he said."
***
“Wong assured us that Romney is very concerned with this, and that if he’s elected these laws will be enforced,” Trueman told TheDC. ”They promised to vigorously enforce federal adult obscenity laws.”

Ladies and gentlemen, let's be blunt. I am an internet pornographer. If you follow me, then chances are you are a fan of such things, and this affects you as much as it does me:
UCLA law professor Eugene Volokh told TheDC earlier this year, however, that the Supreme Court has ruled that private possession of pornography is constitutionally protected, but that private receipt is not — meaning that individuals, too, could be prosecuted.
Post porn to the internet? GO TO JAIL.
Download porn from the internet? GO TO JAIL.
If you think it can't happen because Hey! It's just drawings! Those don't count!, think again. Last time these holier-than-thou cretins went on an anti-pornography crusade, Omaha The Cat Dancer was among the items they deemed obscene enough to merit jail time, so if they decide to start cracking down on the internet, WE ARE NOT SAFE.

Look, I don't care what your political affiliation is. Liberal, Moderate, Conservative, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Martian, WHATEVER...
If you are on Fur Affinity, and you like the erotic images posted here, then you have no business voting for an asshole like Mitt Romney. In fact, you'd have to be insane to even contemplate it.
Or are you prepared to let a guy stiffer than Ned Flanders decide if what you do on the internet is too obscene to be legal?
“unless it’s just waist-up nudity of women’s breasts it probably can be found obscene somewhere in the country.”
This is what they have planned. This is what's coming if Romney gets elected.
If you can't bring yourself to vote for Obama, Do the rest of us a favor on election day - either vote third-party or just stay home.

I tend to be an old-school conservative though, from back before the entire movement lost their collective minds.
But then the textbook definitions aren't the way most people use most political words. :T
That's not to say that conservatives are bad at all, I can totally understand a lot of their views, but the conservatives currently in office are the dangerous ones.
I wish there was an IQ test required to take office. *sigh*
God god i hate this man. Scuese me. im gonna go pay an internet pornographer for more fictional character porn because fuck romney.
Human rights are being assaulted.. and by our own leaders.
That is why I try to avoid both as much as possible out of my life. I never cared for politics anyway. It makes me feel my mind full of fuck. So I know almost nothing of it. Not to mention foreign politics. (And about religion, I reject all of them because I think they are not needed at all for anything. I believe in God, and I think that is enough absolutely.)
About what you say, yeah I know what you mean exactly. It happens in my country as well in ridiculous ways.
ANYWAY this journal makes me to think of the trouble FA had these former years, and of that censure thing Japan has.
Good... been getting out of practice. He may have money, horses, and trophy wife. But he doesn't have me, or you, or anyone else who's willing to stand up and say "Fuck you" against his views and directions.
Now see me, I got a voice. Not afraid to use it against big wigs like Romney, Obama, I don't freaking care. Bunch of windbags you ask me.
And even when I'm not a inhabitan of the US (greetings from Germany at this point) I support your right to watch Porn whenever you want.
Last year his party blocked an infrastructure/public service bill that would have resulted in 1-2 million jobs.
Now they have blocked a tax cut for small businesses that hire people and tax credits for 'onshoring' jobs that would have created another million jobs.
And let us not forget, (no matter how much he wants people to), Mittens was an utter failure at job creation is his one term of public office. That's without almost everything he proposed getting filibustered to death.
=^.,.^=
The issue is that Obama is just a filthy filthy man that needs to knocked down several pegs. It's obvious as to how much he lies too! Hurrah for the Regime! They can be tossed on a ship and have it sunk for all I care.
I'm really wishing Rand Paul was able to run. Damn that guy has good ideas...
If I even were to vote, which I typically don't because of how pointless i all is, I would go for the third party right away or jot a name down.
My latest journal from sometime last week is a whole rant about the stupid Mormons who bury animals in cement and assault children just to get whatever stupid message across. We SURE don't need one of those running our country! We'd be better off with Bush Jr for a third term compared solely to Romney!
However, Obama is a Christian, and yet he hardly mentions it. Why? He gets the whole concept of 'keep church and state separate'. He has done a lot of good for this country (except, I don't get what Obamacare has changed so far, aside from doubling my co-pay when I had my teeth cleaned at the dentist last week, but whatever). Any president who knows full well how to keep his religion from influencing the politics paired with excellent leadership deserves a second term!
I keep hearing folks talking about Obama with that health insurance thing and raising taxes (As if this wouldn't happen ANYWAY), but I much, much, MUCH prefer him over Mitt.
Le sigh.
Even if you agree with his views on the economy, military, taxation, foreign policy etc.?
Some people don't vote for candidates based on single issues.
2. What politician doesn't flipflop? You'll find the same issues with Obama or any candidate with any realistic chance of succeeding in electoral politics.
3. If Romney truly is so "flipflop", then what's the worry? He'll probably change those views again if enough people are against it.
Romney doesn't just flip-flop, his positions sometimes change multiple times over just a few months. Remember that the 'etch-a-sketch' thing came from his own people.
The reason you need to worry about a wind-sock like Romney is that they often hand things to the dangerous blowhards.

Damn! That's just ridiculous. >=\ I pay for connection so I wanna download whatever the fuck I want. >=\
The people who publicly massacred hundreds of the nobility and beheaded their own king before ushering the era of Napolean as Emperor were called REPUBLICANS.
The people responsible for decades of atrocities in Ireland were called the Irish REPUBLICAN Army.
The people who thought Sarah "you betcha" Palin was a good idea are REPUBLICANS.
The people who think a Mormon in the White House is a good idea are REPUBLICANS.
So for me, it's Obama 2012!!!
Why not go back to the old way? 40,000 may be a bit too few. That'd give us a House with 7,500 members. How about 100,000 per Rep, though? 3,000 people wouldn't be so hard to manage, and it'd give us a far more representative sample of the population, including a LOT of non-Republicrat members.
Personally, I like the proposals put forth regarding alterations of the current first-past-the-post method. The multiple-choice voting is particularly nifty, though too complex for the majority of America's mouthbreathing population.
Here are a few reasons to make sure to vote:
Sometimes, you do have to vote for the least of evils.
You can, at the very least, make the clearest possible statement that <candidate you think is best>has support even though he has no chance of winning.[1]
There is more than one race to vote on.
[1] If you think this is a waste of time, consider what it would mean if your minor party of choice could say "we can deliver 5 million votes for President if you support us in X."
