Well, it was a good, if slightly drunk and hungover, birthday! I got to spend my dirty 30 surrounded by family and friends! Felt so blessed and now that the excitement's over, time to forge ahead and carve more of my path that I've been walking on.

I did a lot of exciting things in my 20's, traveled the world, met new people, experienced new opportunities, graduated college and so much. It means a lot to me to hold onto the good times. They say you should never live in the past, and this is true for some things, but for the memories that brought me joy, there's no need to bury those away.

I will work on bettering myself for the greater good. There's things and lessons to be learned. I will strive foward. We are all human and I know life will deal me some blows, but that's a part of life. For the blows that have been dealt, it's been a good lesson. But for the good times that are to come, that's what I live for. For the countries that I have yet to see, I can't wait to experience the culture and sights. For that special soulmate that's out there, I hope I will find.

Let's see what's next! I guess I could compare life to watching television. The commericals are hurdles that you can't avoid, they're inevitable. But once your favorite movie or TV show come back on, you jump right back into it with anticipation and excitement! Paz y amor!
