Long awaited upgrade planning.

Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
I have acquired by fair means W7PRO. and for my b-day, I acquired a 1.5TB HD. I am about to put them in as a fresh install, but then I pondered, how do I save stuff and bring it over? I will have to figure out how to export my bookmarks file, Re-download some really large games, (world of tanks) and re-set a lot of cookies to remember me. Does anyone have a checklist of things you should do when upgrading your system?
