I attended Furvana 2021. Enjoyed myself quite a bit. Friday, drove tot the con, lots of sights to see, laughed when I passed through the Satsop area, remembering the scandle involved in the failed construction attempt there. Made it to the beach, stopped at a restroom outpost, came back and the car would not start. waited an hour then it was fine. Drove back to the convention enter, Registered, got the con book, Went to the dealers room and saw Mary Lowd, Ian Keller, Pmoss and Shawn the Girl. there were others, like Mugwump press, who were affable enough and I enjoyed doing business with them. I went to a writing panel, and a 3d printing panel, was invited to the beach for closing ceremonies, Went with some trepidation because i did not want to get stuck in the sand. should not have worried as there were more then enough furs to pull me out no matter how far I had gotten stuck. I left my car on the hard pck sand and walked to the stage area set up on a pair of scaffolding, they read their announcements some 530 odd furs in attendance they read the charity numbers, nearly $4000 for Paws of Grays Harbor, so that went well, they thanked the staff the GoH, and closed the ceremonies. I then made a pitstop at a porta potty set up at the peach, and drove straight home to Olympia. got home, drug everything into the house, and fell over. happy to have done it. will do so again next year with bit more planing.
