Kiss the Rain FAQ

Figure this needs to be done now, not later.
If you have a question, you may ask it. I'll try my best to answer without giving away the plot.
Q: "Will there be any porn/sex/smut?"
A: Not, really, no. There will be two pages of an intimate scene but there will be no genitalia or fluids and the entire point is to aid the story. There will be no smut, porn, soundeffects or the like.
Q: "Will you make [x] happen?"
A: The comic is by all definitions beyond revision. Every page is inked and just needs to be colored. Most additional pages would only mess up the pacing of the story.
Q: "How long is it?"
A: The comic is 28 pages plus the cover. I may or may not add another page, but more than likely it wouldn't help the pacing.
Q: "What's the Genre?"
A: The focus is love and relationships between friends. The characters are friends throughout the entire comic, just as lovers should also remain friends in their relationship.
Q: "Why aren't there more characters?"
A: Because the focus of the story is about the relationship between the two main characters, I saw no point in adding other relationships. In the future I'll integrate more relationship webs in comics, but here the point was simplicity.
Q: "Why a clean comic?"
A: I don't want to be known only as an adult artist. I know that I'm capable of giving an audience or reader so much more than quick satisfaction. I want to leave an impact and create something people will remember as a good story.
Q: "How did you come up with the idea?"
A: Honestly, I didn't. The comic started as a 24 hour comic challenge. With no prior planning or brainstorming I sat down, started sketching a comic, and the song Kiss the Rain by Yiruma came up on shuffle. I rolled with it. It wasn't until about page 6 (Where we now are!) that I realized the plot. I apologize if this makes the intro seem slow to start, but as I progressed and finished the story I determined that the introduction and interaction was necessary and shouldn't be shortened.
Q: "Are the characters in Japan?"
A: The setting is loosely set in Japan, yes. However, it is a furry AU and I'm taking some freedoms such as not using Japanese text (I don't want to make mistakes) and removing honorifics like -kun and -san. I also took a liberty in the fenced roof-top which most of the comic takes place on.
Q: "Is the comic going to be sad?"
A: To be blunt, yes. However, I think that sadness is no reason to stop reading or supporting it. After all, how many people watch the news? And that's real people... and horribly sad.
Q: "Shou looks a bit like Onta's Marty."
A: Yes, I know. I have spoken to Onta and confirmed that the similarities were not too much. Unfortunately, I was well into coloring when this was brought to my attention. I apologize, but his design just fits him well. The characters aren't similar in personality, however, and Shou will look different in a few pages.
Q: "People won't like it. People don't like sad stories."
A: Oh, that's bullshit if I ever heard it. Between the news, sitcoms, every drama and movie out there, not to mention many classic novels and angsty songs, people LOVE emotional spirals. However, I am not milking angst. There will be no 'woe is me' wrist slitting.
If there are any other questions, I'll try to oblige!

Sounds like it'll really hit home.
I cant wait to see more! Thanks! *hugs*
But... if I may spoil it a little, it's so unbelievably wonderfully sweet. I dare say even my most favorite work of yours. Ever.
Will it have a happy ending though? :3 or is that classified?
