What was the thing you drew most growing up?
Mine was hands down Xenomorphs from the movies Alien/Aliens.
In fact, the first time I got a 1st place ribbon in a school art contest was from a drawing I did of one!
A close second for me would have to be Tyrannosaurus Rexes. Fucking hell.. so much love for them.
Basically, my childhood consisted of Aliens and Jurassic Park. I had zero interest in guns or cars, was just totally obsessed with those critters. I didn't actually start drawing dragons until I was like.. 12. But since then dragons have been my "thing" for sure.
What about you guys?? What was your muse as a kid?

Also drew a lot of bugs bunny and tweety bird XD
And a lot of other animals, but mostly bunnies.. And dinosaurs.
Then later on dragons, gryphons and other monsters, and then Pokémons and fakemons, followed by more dragons. Yep
but I did pokemon and DBZ stuff.. ninjas.. neopets.. too
Other then that, birds, but mostly just made up things D:
i tried so hard to draw humans... animals were just easier.
Ahh, makes me miss all my Xeno and Jurassic Park action figures ;-;
I know I used to draw pokemon and stuff from Animorphs too, but not as much.
I went through a faze in middle school where I adored drawing dragons and did so a lot but I got made fun of for how I liked making them look so I stopped drawing them.
i still haven't progressed XD
1. the lion king
2. dogs
3. cats
4. horses/unicorns
5. dragons
6. werewolves
(yeah, i was a kinda disturbed little kid XD.. but at least i was a furry from a young age lol)
When I was a kid I was also obsessed with drawing everything having a throat and stomach (like some of the Native American art shows) though that's likely because my grandparents had quite a lot of that sort of art hanging on the walls.
One time I drew Jeff going super saiyan. I'm sure it's incredibly easy to figure out how old I was when I doodled that masterpiece up. ;p
