The Journal Where I Talk MFF and Feel Sad That It Is Over

So I feel it is important to recap a Furry Convention every time one happens. This gives me a chance to reply to everyone I've caught up with that wants to leave something behind on my page. Kind of like one of those journals where I can go back in time and see what we got up to together, and remember good times. This year is not going to be any different, especially since MFF actually managed to take a shovel to FC's head For 2nd most attended con of 2012. I mean like Whoa, serious?
Being my first MFF, I never got to see the actual growth. I will say that it is a for-serious matured con, compared to the likes of FC. Everything was organized, everything went smoothly on my end. They had their shit together despite some programming/art show issues. The hotel blew me away as one of the most convention friendly hotels I have ever seen. Yes, it took some getting used to, but dat hotel. Wow. Perfect, with room to grow.
The number of food venues were, unfortunately, the most lousy I have ever seen at a con. Unless you want to walk a mile, you are eating in the HOTEL, BITCH! Rosemont kind of sucks unless you have money, and lots of it. Maybe this was actually a blessing in disguise, because no one really wanted to leave the venue. With that said, the O'H (right in the hotel lobby) blew my socks off after snubbing my nose at it for two days. Slightly pricey, but simply the best buffet and salad bar I've EVER had despite a limited selection. The menu items were simply fantastic as well.
Either way I fucking loved hanging around all you folks. SO, THE RECAP IS: FUCKING FANTASTIC. I wish the artists made more money at this con, but for hanging out? This convention is one I'd look into going to again.

This is for the people I met literally while walking to the gas station to get drinks. One of you had a rainbow tail and you both were from North Dakota if I remember correctly? I would LOVE IT if you gave me a shout here because I want to know who you are! Also, the furries that were on the same plane as us from Sacramento.
