Undoubtably Anthrocon (Recap Journal)

I don't care what anyone says about AC. I traveled to Pittsburgh for my friends. I saw my friends. I met new friends. I had an AMAZING time with my friends. THIS CON, YOU GUYS! It has a special place in my heart.
And then, so do all of you who did not attend. I have a wonderful group of people who support me, and a wonderful partner that makes life worth living. I couldn't ask for more out of this fandom, and I am proud to be a part of it.
So, the con. There was drawing, there was dining, there were fireworks, there was socializing, there was bravest warriors, there was birding it up at the aviary, there was food so amazing my body couldn't handle it, there were rooster pinups in our bathroom... All of you were fantastic. And lets not forget meandering Pittsburgh, because the city is quite charming. In the end, I did so much that there was much I didn't do.
Some of you were attending, and we just didn't manage to hang out. It totally sucks, but hopefully we will spend more time together next con (maybe even sooner!).
Whether we hung out or not, I always appreciate comments describing the trouble we got ourselves into! I like the "open invitation to comment" option a lot better than listing off a massive scroll of icons. It is way more personal!
# You fuckers best be pre-regin' it up for AirportCon 2014.

Thanks for the awesome time, Hopefully there are more of those brownies in our future!
I am pondering the possibility of going next year, however. If it happens, I'd love to hang out with you and Byz. Spending time with good friends is the whole reason cons exist, IMO. :)
