Winter has arrived in the Black Forest.
As I type these lines our (now properly working) oven heats the room while outside a small snowstorm is passing by. We got several new windows last week just in time before the real winter started. The difference is amazing.
I love this time of the year, not only it means "off worktime" for me, it also brings along a peace of mind state nothing else can do, except some special kind of music.
I'm looking forward to x-mas this year. ^v^ Ignoring all the consumption-stuff and just aiming at meeting family and friends again. A lot of time to play mmo's, preparing some company stuff... all nicely relaxed.
As my life-situation is now I see the chance to start prepare more serious things.
I can maintain the house and my part of the running cost without spending 100% into my monetary profession, leaving enough time to learn and make progress on all kinds of other fields. Never before in this life there was so much freedom and security for me and if feels very calming to be increadably independent, even though it comes with the price of responsibility.
Deep within I wish this kind of life-situation could be shared with all humans, but the more I ponder about it the more I come to the conclusion this world is not meant to be all free, all "good" and all relaxed and there must be a reason for it, too.
And I want to know why.
