so fucking tired of bad pet owners

FA's new AUP of allowing you to post animals being fed to other animals. I thought it was okay at first but then I realized IT DOES NOT SPECIFY LIVE OR DEAD.
No. Fuck that. I've had it with incompetent fucking pet owners and now it feels like FA is ENCOURAGING it.
yeah i'll probably come back all ABLOOBLOO FA on a different account or some shit but goddamn. Furries in general are such shit pet owners. I joined the goddamn fandom because I think animals are cool! I did not join it to see abuse happening and getting glazed over and people hiding comments because they want to be able to live feed all their snakes and not take care of their animals beyond yelling at their dogs every time they move and shit like that. I'm tired of rats in aquariums, dogs with prong collars that "need to learn their place", and ridiculously skinny horses.
I'm fucking tired of it. If you want an animal, you need to do your goddamn research and not just do whatever is convenient or tiddles your whistle or whatever the fuck. I would wager a good chunk of this fandom, BASED AROUND ANIMAL-PEOPLE, do not give a flying fuck about animal care or their pets' physical and psychological health.

FA+

At least it's scraps only, I never check that section anyway >__>
it's stupid.
I hate hose photos of snakes swalloing mice with their feet still sticking out >__>
And you are right, they really are encouraging it with this new rule.
my anxiety issues are just way too much for me to be involved around any of this. if FA had blocked tags, maybe. otherwise just...nah, man
ONLY RENARD AND SKRILLEX REMIXES ARE OKAY NOW
but basically this allows animal abuse. and that aint right.
I was very confused when I found this as common as ever in the furry fandom. And I must admit there are days, more often then I would like to think, that it gets very tiring trying to educate and promote better living for people and pets when a vast number of people want to fight over opinions and traditions even if it means turning down good advice.
And lets not even go into live feeding, I'm so tired of the excuses people can come up with for their selfishness and convenience.
A community based around animals may be adding fuel to the fire. Most people that have a positive relationship with a pet make the mistake of promoting others to own pets like it. For example a guinea pig owner might go, "hey everyone guinea pigs are the best pets ever, everyone should have one." More so I see this with dogs and certain breeds. One person will own one dog then promote it to anyone and everyone based on owning that one dog. A kid that owned a rottweiler for some part of his childhood will turn around and say, "oh rotties are the bestest most nicest dogs ever, I had one when I was little and she was the best dog ever." They speak for a breed they haven't even tapped the surface on and what's worse is they flaunt around as if they are a damn expert because at one time they owned 1 example of the breed.
When people come to me for help matching a pet or dog breed to their personality I rarely suggest dogs or pets I like or own myself, mostly because they are all hard to take care of.
So just a theory but if you take a bunch of people who impulsively go around saying, "oh I had this kinda pet once, you should totally get one!" and have them talk to the people who sit at home going, "Gee horses are so cool and pretty and graceful, I wish I had a pony." You very well might end up with a mess.
