SO how was everyone's Christmas?
Despite having to visit family mine was alright; from my family I got a homemade candle in a mason jar, a tin of chocolate covered peanuts, some homemade cookies, a giftcard to FYE (for those who don't know where I live, for me that's like getting a giftcard to circuit city), a homemade set of spices...
From the people in my family who aren't cheap/actually know me: A felix the cat clock, a deep fryer (that'll come in handy soon), cushions for my assless computer chair (like sitting on a plank), bookends, lots of coffee, and lots of candy (if you knew me personally, you'd never see me without candy)
From the person I love dearest (a.k.a. muffinpants): a 3DSxL, paper mario sticker something, and oodles and kaboodles of MLP: FiM toys/accessories/cards/etc.
needless to say Muffinpants wins the award every year for best gift(s)

Anyway, how did you guys fare this Christmas?
Present-wise I got 2 games (Prof. Layton & Miracle Mask, Castlevania: Ecclesia) some DVDs (Dark Knight Rises, Red Dwarf X, Prometheus etc) and some Money. :3
Although Sammy sent me some MLP:FIM toys and some art, which was awesome!
Christmas was good here! Just my parents and I ^^ We went to see Les Miserables in the morning and all came out sobbing - what a great holiday movie XD
and you didn't see "Parental Guidance"???? Huffington Post told me it was 'tolerable'!
and don't worry about me, health is our number 1 concern, if there's a healthy way to do it then we'll figure it out!
Me? Worked right through it, darn the luck. Parents were a bit annoyed about that, but they and the rest of the family were out and about down Texas way visiting one of the other siblings, so I wasn't quiiiiite about to drive out there after I finished my shift.
Perhaps next year!
and seriously, there is nothing quite so magical, as being 24 years old, and waking up to a Christmas morning with TOYS! Though none shall ever be opened, we're collectors :P
Pff, extra? I should be so lucky. Nah, they have ways around that option. But eh! Needs must n' all that, y'know?
That show taught me about nerdy collectors, and the only French I've ever learned: omelette du fromage
