Step 4: Revert to Step 2 if needed. If you don't think it's needed after that long a debugging period, you're in denial:P
Note that most of the time step 3 can be shortened a proportionate amount with increase to time spent on step 2 but this is, and I stress this strongly, NOT always the case!
Labor through all this and you will have quite a thing of beauty that is also very practical and just plain awesome!:3
