An Update From Your Dawg!

Sup all! Happy 2013 to you all.
I write to you all sleepy and tired from the work week. So a quick update.
I lost my uncle in the beginning of December. He was given military honors and taps at his funeral since he served in the Navy. It always sucks to lose a family member during the holidays, when you're expected to be happy and cheerful. RIP Uncle Magarito.
I've been an animal health tech (or vet tech, whatever lol) for almost 2 months as of this date, and I've had mixed feelings. I won't get into length why, I love the job, but some of the people where I work kind of kill the experience. Needless to say, it's that way with practically every job, but I always say, if you have a cliqueish group of co-workers, it makes it tedious then it should be. But that being said, I'm enjoying soaking up the experience and it's good for my resume. I'm biting my lip and pressing forward. What more can I do? I am grateful, and it is paying my bills until I find another job at another clinic or practice.
Speaking of bills, I bought me a new ride! A 2010 Hyuandai Sonata! It was an impulsive buy, but one I needed for a while now since my 1995 Pontiac Bonneville finally shit out after almost 230,000 miles.
Top that off with my upcoming student loans I gotta pay back and I'm back in debt again. It seems to be an American thing, to be in debt. But nah, it's a world thing lol.
Yesterday me and a buddy of mine saw the AWESOME Slightly Stoopid in concert! My first show of 2013 and they rocked! It all feels like a dream that I saw them, but that's maybe because of the haze from the spliffs being passed around. These guys are some of my heroes, and I'm so happy I finally got to see them live! If they come to your town, you should too!
So, yeah, that sums up my last few weeks of 2012, and into 2013. How are you all? God Bless!
